something about me….

It’s always playtime, except when it’s not.
Hi! Welcome to my ADHD/ADD lifestyle blog! Yes, lifestyle, although it’s not exactly a voluntary lifestyle. Still, this place is all about the (let’s call it) marvellous life of a female with adult ADHD

I am in my -sigh- officially late 20’s, work in the medical field and have combined type ADHD. I am seriously dating mr Tall, Dark & Handsome. I go from obsession to obsession and can get pretty annoying, but I don’t take myself too seriously and try to play as much as possible. I have a creative spirit, a fiesty temperament and sometimes I feel like I’m both half my age and twice my age, but never just my age.  I am critical of society and I am a Christian. I am also a GP registrar. I am a bit intense I think.

I write about many different, random things. Sometimes I just want to write, sometimes I come across things that can be helpful to others in managing their ADD/ADHD or just in general their lives. Most of the things that are vital to living with ADHD are extremely beneficial to those without ADD/ADHD… except the meds. After all, we’re just people.

This blog is like me: random, eclectic, intense, chaotic, impulsive, intelligent.

No surprise, I HAD to check you out, right?

I’m now following – hmmmm, is that the same as cyber-stalking?

Left you a thank you post to your last comment, btw, and admitted I was WRONG on my very own blog! 😀
    xx,

NO rush – it will be there for eternity, right?

btw- even though I was worthless for you re: Impulsivity, my 1st person DSPS/N-24 post (Living with JetLag – JetLagged for LIFE) MIGHT make you feel less alone with the shift-work sleep nonsense.

BUT, no surprise, it is LONG and text-dense (as are the rest in the sleep series, all but #1)

In any case, I feel your pain. I have been a “vampire” my entire life — the kid they had to WAKE for Christmas.

Hah, brilliant. I’ve actually been diagnosed with ‘Sleep disorder bound to circadian rhythm’ or something in that line, so now that symptom of me is a disorder. I’m not so much a vampire, I just have crappy brakes. I keep on bouncing.

Sorry that you’re dealing with the jet-lag-without-the-fun-vacation thing too! I do try to read bits of your blog.

    Hi busydarling,

I was looking for information on ADHD the other day and came across your website. Thanks for the excellent information.

I have recently done an infographic on ADHD which might be of interest. Would you like me to send you the link?

    Thanks,

    Matt
